Day 6 Athens 2004 - 08-17-04

Greetings in the Grace and Love of JESUS from Greece...  WOW.. Another day in Greece!  Today we had our first street performance (right on the street, no stage).  It was good... We drew a good crowd but right after our performance on the street the people left quickly and we really didn't have a chance to talk to anyone.  However, we just prayed that what we performed would speak into peoples lives.  We performed again at a the big street stage and the Russian guy that I talked with yesterday was there and I got to connect with him again and Maarit, a LION Player from Finland who can speaks Russian, shared with him and was able to ask him what he thought of our performance and he said he liked it.  We talked with him about having freedom and that God gives the only true freedom!  We also did a street performance later in the evening and it was received well by the crowd.  We got a chance to talk with a few people but nothing really deep but we know that we proclaim the LIFE, the WAY and Truth of JESUS in our performance and I know that spoke loud to the crowds.  As we walked to go somewhere for dinner I just prayed over the city of Athens that God would show HIS Glory in this city!  There is a darkness over this city and an attitude of "I don't really care."  I am praying that God would break that and people would be set free by JESUS!  Thank you for all your prayers and we are excited for the next day!  God is leading us to do more street performances (on the street, with no stage) and I think the next day we will have a lot more of that.  We will be performing near the beach and other places tomorrow.   Please check out the below photos...
